Foam Mattress Pad Protector
So now that you have made the investment on a new memory foam mattress pad, should you have a cover for it? Some people say yes, some people say no but when it comes down to it really is your choice. The number one reason that a mattress cover is used is to protect your mattress from stains, such as sweat, urine… etc.
Allergies can be an issue, along with bedbugs and dirt and grime as well. If you want to protect your mattress, or have allergy issues one covere that comes highly recommended is the ” protect the bed premium mattress protector”. These are really neat the way they work, they are very thin made from breathable layers so that they do not affect the feel of your memory foam pad.
Some new mattress protectors out on the market have made huge strides in being not only able to stop stains, but to be breathable at the same time. What is so great about these is that they do not change the feel of a memory foam topper, while protecting from spills at the same time. These new mattress protectors also have the added benefit of protecting against allergy situations such as dust mites and preventing bacteria from growing.
I have seen some of these mattress protectors on display at some mattress stores, you may have seen these as well. Usually in their display what they want have is, a jar with the mattress topper as its lid. Inside the jar will be a blue liquid, and you can take the jar and turn it upside down and the liquid will not pass through the mattress topper, but you can take your mouth and blow into the jar in the air will pass through.
These do a great job of protecting your memory foam padd from all sorts of spills, and yet worked really well for those who are concerned over allergy issues, since the breathable layers prevent bacteria and dust mites from reading in your memory foam mattress pad.
